The glans penis enlargement is a new technique developed in the last few years to combat the relatively small size glans with regard to penis enlargement. The observation and demand of many patients to compensate their small glans led to the use of articoll as an injection for the treatment of this entity. This safe and sure procedure has been done successfully on many patients since last year.
The glans penis is the compact peripheral part of the penis. It is sometimes smaller or thinner than usual in comparison to the shaft of the penis. The operation technique has been developed very recently and has proved to be successful.
This is performed through the implantation of a skin fat flap taken from the groin. It is a sure method of enlargement. It may be performed also through the injection of a maximum of two ml of Articoll at different sites in the substance of the glans. This is not a sure permanent method.

Who is qualified for the operation ?
Patients who have small volume of glans penis and those who have a relatively small glans compared to the circumference of the shaft of the penis. Many patients who undergo thickening undergo the operation as a compensatory step.
How does the operation work ?
The patient lies on his back. The skin-fat-flaps are prepared and taken from the groin on both sides. An incision is done on both sides of the Glans and the flaps are inserted underneath to achieve a round counter all over following the anatomical shape of the penis. The flaps are fixed using absorbable sutures. The skin is closed.
Healing:
Healing is smooth and happens within a few days and is usually accompanied by slight fullness and sensation of pain in the glans. Scaring but not swelling is unusual but has been recorded as is common with other cases of inject able implants with irregular surfaces as experienced in face surgery.
