Incontinence is the uncontrolled loss of urine this can happen in young as well as advanced age.
The risk factors for incontinence are:
- weakness of the muscles of the floor of the pelvi

- chronic infection of the urinary trac

- narrow lower urinary tract

- foreign body in the bladder

- fals behaviour
How can I protect my self from incontinence:
- have a regular fluid intake while dividing the amount of fluid along the day.

- visit the toillet in regular intervels to evacuate the bladder.

- avoid keeping urine or not evacuating the bladder until work is done if you feel the desire for urination.
--
- practice sport particularly pelvic floor gymnastic.
--
- visit the urologist for examination if you opseve incontinence.

- avoid urinary tract infection.
-- The treatment of incontinence is behavioural therapy and pelvic floor gymnastic in the first line. If these does not help one resorts to medications and at last an ambulant operation to keep dry.
