Varicocele
Varicocele of the testis means widining of the veins around the spermatic cord. They are most frequent on the left side. The dilated veins surround the epidedymis (the station of the development of the sperms) and increases its temperature which has a negative effect on its speed and development.

The risk factor for the development of varicocele are:
  1. standing for a long time
  2. born weak veins
How can I protect my self from varicocele:
  1. avoid standing for long time
  2. wear a well fitted underwears which keep the scrotum high
The treatment is mostly physical in the first two stages of the disease or surgical in the third stage particularly if there is a wish for children.
