Bladder cancer
Bladder cancer is a change of the mucous membrane of the bladder. It has two main forms:

  1. transitional cell cancer,
  2. squamous cell cancer.

The first one is privalent in Europe and America while the second one is present in places of endemic chronic disease like Egypt, Arabia and Asian. It is either supperficial or deep and is classified into a certain classification.

The risiko factors of bladder cancer are:

  1. contact with chemicals particularly aromatic amines,
  2. chronic infection,
  3. chronic parasites like belharzia.

How to protect myself from bladder cancer:

  1. avoid contact with aromatic amines and color substances,
  2. please let your chronic baldder infection be treated by the urologist,
  3. avoid infection with belharzia by not swimming in infected rivers,
  4. seek immediate treatment by the urologist if you have belharzia,
  5. visit a urologist immediately if you opserve blood in the urine,
  6. visit a urologist if you suffer from bladder infection for more than three times per year,
  7. keep on narrow control if you have bladder cancer.

The supperficial type of bladder cancer is treated though its removale and installation of medicaments in the bladder. The deep type which may reach the muscles of the bladder must be treated by removal of the bladder. If the disease get out of the bladder then it is treated by chemotherapy.

In some early cases of bladder cancer, it is possible to substitute the bladder with a bladder made of the small or large intestine. This type of substitution is dependant on the type of the original tumour, the general condition of the patient and the previous management modalities.

If the case is inoperable and the radical removal of the disease is not possible, multi chemotheraputic regiems are used. This is of some palliative value in case of transitional cell cancer rather than for cases with squamous cell cancer.

There are some surgical procedures that treat this disease too aiming at reduction of the sense at the glans penis. Men`s health has given light to weak erection which affects diabetic patients, those who smoke or consume alcohol or are under stress. There are three major drugs for treatment and there are many types of penile prosthesis which vary from a simple one to the more complicated hydraulic prosthesis.
